PLAN ROOM AND JOB SOURCE INFORMATION

As a member of the West Texas Chapter you would participate in the fastest, most reliable and complete job source information in West Texas or for that matter, in the world. It's the fastest because you will receive all by fax or E-Mail.

The DAILY UPDATE includes new plans received, addendum received, changes in the prime contractor bidder's list and any other information received by us that day which is of interest to the West Texas Construction Industry.

The WEEKLY BULLETIN forwarded starting on Friday night includes all the complete information from all of our Plan Rooms; Abilene, Lubbock, Midland-Odessa and Wichita Falls.

It the most reliable because we do not depend on the mail. Each morning we check our Fax Broadcast Report or our E-Mail Delivery Report and if your firm did not receive its UPDATE or WEEKLY BULLETIN, we will call you and if you can fix the problem, we will fax or E-Mail it to you then.

You will be kept up-to-date on all the latest requirements for the building construction industry in West Texas. You are currently required by law to have a Safety Program, EEO Program, Drug Program and Hazard Communication Program.

Not to worry. We have all that is required - personalized for your firm.

LEGAL SERVICES: Do you need to file a lien? We have all the proper documents in our computer waiting for you to give us the appropriate facts.

What are your rights and responsibilities under various Federal Laws or State Laws which pertain to the Building Construction Industry? In a twinkling we can fax or E-Mail to you the specific law and an outline developed for the construction industry on that law.

DIRECTORY AND BUYER'S GUIDE: Listing only AGC members and is forwarded to all General Contractors both in and out of West Texas who are bidding work in West Texas. 40 to 50% of all the building construction work performed in West Texas is done by General Contractors whose primary location is outside the West Texas area. When they call us asking for subcontractors or suppliers they will get the name of your firm. Sooner or later, they will call you. Our Directory and Buyer’s Guide is also on the World Wide Web at our Web Site.

The Directory is an alphabetical listing of West Texas members while the Buyer's Guide lists members according to their work specialty.

SOCIAL EVENTS: Regular Quarterly Chapter-Wide dinner meetings plus events strictly for the Abilene members allowing the General Contractor, Subcontractor and Supplier to get to know one another.

Associate membership fees are $375.00 quarterly. The quarterly fees are pro-rated to the date of application submission.

There is a one time $50.00 initiation fee that must accompany the application.
